DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Driver Specialist is the heart of every relationship critical to our
success. They identify new customers, service existing clients and
manage the employment experience of our drivers. The duties of the
Driver Specialist encompass responsibilities common to Recruiters,
Dispatchers and Sales Representatives in other industries. Although each
function in their own right is important to the success of the
organization, the Driver Specialist must be good at all of the
functions. They are expected to drive the growth of Road Dog Drivers in
new and developing markets. Daily tasks can include the following:
•Developing relationships with new clients through prospecting activities, cold calls, client visits and quarterly events
•Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
•Preparation of client presentations, proposals and sales contracts
•Daily recruiting and dispatch of active local CDL drivers
•Resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service
The Driver Specialist is compensated with a competitive base salary.
