We are a Low voltage company seeking a Systems Administrator/Desktop support candidate. We are rapidly growing and need someone motivated to grow with us.

Responsibilities:
-Systems administration, with DNS, DHCP, VPN, file access methods, system utilities, backup/recovery and Active Directory.
-Sonic Wall/Cisco router/firewall technology.
-Data and voice support (VOIP/T1)
-Knowledge to support SQL platforms, to include ability to write simple queries. Ability to diagnose SQL server issues from operations stand-point. Understanding of log-shipping, replication and database backup strategy concepts.
Troubleshooting install and configurations of LANs, WANs, VPN's, replication software, and virtualization software such as VMware
Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure and personal.
Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Partners.
Install new configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc...
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Inventory phones, computers, and any hardware on the network.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
Provide support per request from internal and remote user. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Upgrade and configure system software.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
Plan and undertake regular maintenance work on the computer systems. Ready to fix any and every problem that can happen with servers, desktops, and laptops.
Responsible for the upkeep of all the computers and networks
Manage the company servers and intranet by installing good security systems and protect the important information on them
Periodical checks of the computer systems so there are problems in the future.
