We are seeking a high caliber individual with 5+ year's progressively responsible network engineering experience to join our growing consulting and management firm. This position will assist in designing and implementing hosted, managed, and company specific solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Strong proficiency and hands on experience is required in:
Discuss and/or present network ideas and solutions in an organized and clear fashion.
Cisco IP Telephony: Call Manager, Unity and Unity integration with Exchange.
Cisco routers -- 800's, 1900's 2900's, 3900's, 7200's; routing protocols, subnetting, etc.
Cisco switches -- small branch office lines to 6500's.
Firewalls -- Cisco, SonicWall.
VPN solutions
Cisco Wireless solutions
Network security
Other Required Skills:
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, CCIP or commensurate experience are advantageous.
Excellent communications, interpersonal and customer support skills.
Ability to document system solutions and follow outlined processes.
A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is helpful but not required.
