Sunday, April 6, 2014, walk starts at 8:00 a.m.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California (RMHCSC) will host Walk for Kids, a non-competitive 5k (3.1 miles) pledge event for individuals at all fitness levels. This event takes place at four locations simultaneously and raises funds for and awareness of RMHCSC and its programs, which include six Ronald McDonald Houses, two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times®. RMHCSC is dedicated to helping families cope with the physical and emotional stress of having a critically-ill child who is undergoing medical treatment.

Through generous contributions from individuals, local businesses and community groups, RMHCSC hopes to raise $2.5 million to support families throughout Southern California.

Participants are encouraged to sign up for a team now and start collecting donations for RMHCSC programs. No minimum donation is required. Donations are accepted in person or via walkforkids.org.
