2014 Mud Run & Obstacle Course Race Season is fast approaching time to start training.
Mud Runs and Obstacle Course Races are fun and exciting races over
rugged terrain, through mud bogs, water hazards and military style
obstacles. These races aren't really races in the classic sense where
it's how fast you can complete the race; they are about completing the
race, facing your fears, overcoming adversity, team work and camaraderie
with your fellow racers.
The races are physically and mentally challenging. Here at Organic
Strength & Fitness we have developed a program that will prepare you
the race and any other challenges life sends your way. If this is your
first race or you're a veteran racer our program will improve

• Cardiovascular Endurance
• Balance
• Running Technique
• Mental and Physical Toughness
• Confidence
• Teamwork
All workouts are done outside rain or shine and will be held in
different locations each day to take advantage of varying terrain and
conditions just like the real race. The training varies day to day in
order to develop all of the skills you need to complete the race. Some
days will be strength days, others will be cardiovascular endurance days
and there will be days when the two are combined. All training is
centered on building physical fitness, technical proficiency, mental and
physical toughness, confidence and teamwork.
Boot camp runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 6:30 pm.
Boot Camp starts Monday May 5th so sign up now space is limited to 12 slots. $130.00 per month.
