DON'T REPLACE IT! WE CAN REGLAZE IT!

WHAT IS BATHTUB REFINISHING? To someone who is unfamiliar with the process? In many ways it is similar to a paint job and body work to your car. You can reglaze "From any color To any color!" There is no Magical Liquid Porcelain. First, any obstacles like Shower Doors will need to be removed to access the surface. This can be done by the customer if they feel handy? Or our Technician can do it for a separate charge. If the surface has been painted or refinished before *(look for peeling, flaking, 2 different layers of color), the old paint will need to be chemically stripped so that we start with the original surface for adhesion purposes. You don't want to put new paint over old peeling paint! The Surface is then thoroughly cleaned with a Heavy Duty Industrial Cleaner which removes any impurities and etches the porcelain to ensure proper adhesion. Next the surface is sanded to additionally prepare it to receive the new material. If there are any nicks, chips, rust, or water wear at the drain? Think of these as dents or rust in the fender of your car. A paint job alone will not fix them. They require additional repair with bondo if you want a perfect finish. Bondo repair of surface damage is an additional charge quoted on a case by case basis. It is optional depending on the customer's needs and expectations. The walls, floors and fixtures surrounding the tub are papered and masked to protect them from overspray. The rest of the room is covered in drop cloths and a Fume Exhauster is set up to draw off any fumes and overspray. We then do a Professional Spray Application of two coats of an Aerospace Primer. This is a Bonding Agent which sets the surface up. We then apply an additional three coats of a High Grade Urethane Topcoat. This is what gives the High Gloss Bright White Shine! The process takes 3-5 hours and the material is DRY IN 8 HOURS! The tub is ready for use that SAME DAY!
