I am a female high school math teacher (14 years teaching high school math courses, along with 15 years tutoring math).
I help you or your child with homework, as well as create individualized supplementary material (such as worksheets, practice quizzes, tests/exams, etc.) to help you or your child get on track AND advance ahead; teach short cut methods; help with organizational skills; & build confidene in learning math. I've had successful students who were failing, then improve their grades up to A/B grades, as well as become very confident in their math skills - courses ranged from pre-algebra, Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, College Algebra.

My Degrees:
* Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education - Mathematics
* Master's Degree: Educational Foundations
* Over 15 yrs experience- very nurturing, understanding, and out-going personality - enjoys teaching children and adults
Tutoring Subjects: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, College Algebra/math, Test Prep,ASVAB, GED
Rates: $30-45/hr depending on subject/content.

Rates include ALL supplementary materials, practice tests/quizzes, etc. Note: Rates are higher than other tutors due to education degrees,experience & knowledge, as well as creation of individualized, extra material & help provided beyond the tutoring session time. Weekly meetings preferred ( note: for BEST results/ QUICK improvement: 1 day for 1.5 hours or more per week or 2 days of 1 hr sessions work best for math improvement) * last minute needed tutoring is available.
