In the state of Rhode Island all contractors are required to register with the Rhode Island Contractor Licensing Board.
At that time they will receive a Contractors Registration number.All registered Contractors must have a minimum of 500.000 General Liability Insurance.
All ads posted must have the Registration number posted in the ad.This is to protect the consumer.Any Contractors offering to work in R.I. and do not follow these rules can be fined up to $1,000.00.
